Prospector kit (golden)

The golden prospector kit is an experience-boosting clothing set that grants 2.5% additional Mining experience when worn while mining. The golden prospector kit is a cosmetic variant of the prospector kit and therefore provides the same benefits as the normal prospector kit, and each piece will act as a normal piece for the purpose of obtaining the set bonus.

This set can be stored in the armour case space of a costume room in a player-owned house. Ultimate Ironmen will be unable to retrieve individual pieces until the full set is stored.

The golden prospector helmet will also complete the hard Falador diary task.

Obtaining

The golden prospector kit can be obtained by using a star fragment on each piece of the regular prospector kit. Star fragments can be bought from Dusuri's Star Shop at the Mining guild entrance for 3,000 stardust each. Recolouring the entire prospector kit will require 4 star fragments, costing a total of 12,000 stardust. Stardust can be obtained through the Shooting stars activity. This change in appearance cannot be undone. The golden prospector kit can not be sold back to Prospector Percy's Nugget Shop in the Motherlode Mine.
