Prayer items

Prayer items are equipment which give Prayer bonuses when worn.

How Prayer items work

Each Prayer bonus point increases the time it takes for prayer points to deplete by 3.33% additively.

For example, having +30 Prayer bonus would make Prayers last 100% longer (twice as long). Protect from Melee would then drain 1 Prayer point every 6 seconds, instead of every 3 seconds. The highest Prayer bonus possible is 73.

Highest Prayer bonus

The following armour gives the highest possible Prayer bonus.

		Any god book	+5	Requires completion of Horror from the Deep. Broodoo shields also give the same bonus, but require 25 and 25 . The Falador shield 4 gives the same Prayer bonus and requires completion of the Elite Falador Diary.
		Holy wraps	+3	Requires 31 to wear. Cheaper alternatives include White gloves and Blessed vambraces, but they only give +1 to Prayer. A Tormented bracelet gives +2, but requires 75 Hitpoints to wear.
		Ring of the gods (i)	+8	The Ring of the gods initially gives +4 Prayer bonus. However, players can imbue their ring via Nightmare Zone to increase its Prayer bonuses to +8. The Ring of suffering (i) gives +4 Prayer and has significantly higher Defence bonuses, but does not give the Holy wrench effect and additionally requires 75 .
		Any crozier	+6	Requires 60 to wield. The Void knight mace also gives the same Prayer bonus, but requires 42 , , , , , , 22 , and 250 commendation points.
		Rada's blessing 4	+2	Requires completion of the elite Kourend & Kebos Diary.
