The dreadborn araxyte is a superior variant of araxytes. It has a chance of spawning when an araxyte (specifically, only the level 146 variant^[1]) is killed if the player has purchased the unlock Bigger and Badder for 150 Slayer reward points from any Slayer master.

The dreadborn araxyte has a special attack that drains venom and poison resistance, then shoots a globule at the player which can hit 50s. The damage can be mitigated by reapplying venom immunity with a araxyte venom sack, an anti-venom potion, or any other form of anti-venom before the globule hits the player. A serpentine helm will not mitigate the damage.

Drops

In addition to 100% drops and tertiary drops, superior slayer monsters will always roll 3 additional items, which may also be from the superior unique table. The other rolls are performed on the regular counterpart's table; their displayed drop chances represent a single roll.
