Water Blast is a water-based blast spell in the standard spellbook, requiring level 47 Magic to cast. As an offensive combat spell it can only be cast on attackable NPCs, or other players in a PvP situation.

It is the strongest water spell available to free-to-play players.

Damage

Water Blast's base maximum hit starts at 14 and increases as the player unlocks additional blast spells, up to 16 at level 59 Magic.

As with all combat spells, Water Blast's maximum hit is also increased based on the player's magic damage bonus.

As a water-based spell, Water Blast's maximum hit is also increased against targets that are weak to water.

Notable uses

• During the Family Crest quest, the player must deal damage to the demon Chronozon with Water Blast (along with each of the other three blast spells) at least once in order to defeat it.
