Graceful clothing is weight-reducing gear that can be bought from Grace found in the Rogues' Den beneath The Toad and Chicken in Burthorpe. The pieces are bought at Grace's Graceful Clothing with marks of grace, which are obtained by completing Agility Courses and Rooftop Agility Courses.

While individual pieces of the graceful outfit will increase the rate of the player's natural run energy restoration (adding up to 20%), wearing the full graceful outfit gives an additional 10% bonus, giving a total of 30% increased natural run energy restoration.[1] Note that other items, such as the boots of lightness, spottier cape, and penance gloves, reduce more weight than their graceful counterparts, but they do not grant the run energy restoration bonus.

Any piece of any colour variation of the clothing set may be stored in a magic wardrobe in the costume room of their player-owned house. Since every colour variation is stored separately, Ultimate Ironmen can only retrieve the pieces from the magic wardrobe if a full set of the same colour variation is stored.

Graceful clothing is placed on your gravestone upon death unless in the Wilderness and above level 20. The set is retrievable upon dying elsewhere in a PvP World.

The graceful outfit can only be bought with marks of grace, which can only be obtained by running laps on certain Agility courses. Buying the entire set costs 260 marks, which can be obtained as early as level 53 Agility if only the rooftop courses are done, no Agility experience from quests taking up rooftop training (otherwise, as early as level ~56), and Falador is skipped to remain at Canifis instead. Selling the whole set back to Grace will yield 208 marks. It is important to note that only uncoloured pieces of the set can be refunded.

The Canifis Rooftop Course is a popular rooftop course for obtaining the outfit due to its anomalously high rate of mark spawns. While the chance of receiving marks on courses that are 20 levels under a player's Agility level is decreased to 20% of their original rate[2], this reduction does not apply to the Canifis course, making it the best course for marks until Ardougne. Obtaining the full graceful outfit starting at level 40 Agility on the Canifis Rooftop Course will take anywhere from 13-16 hours and 500-700 laps, which makes it the second fastest method in the game behind the Ardougne Rooftop Course. This will yield approximately 54-56 Agility by the time 260 marks of grace have been obtained with this method.

Another popular method is getting to the Seers' Village Rooftop Course as soon as possible and obtaining marks there. Marks of Grace are earned there at ~75-90% of the rate as at Canifis (depending on the Kandarin Diary tier completed) with far higher experience rates. The experience rates of the Falador Rooftop and Wilderness Agility Courses are also significantly higher than Canifis', but marks of grace are obtained at a lower rate on the Falador Rooftop Course while not at all on the Wilderness Agility Course. If long-term Agility or marks goals are desired, this method is more efficient.

A full graceful set costs 260 marks of grace. If a player chooses to instead spend the same amount of marks on amylase packs, they instead receive 2,600 amylase crystals, which are currently worth 3,998,800 coins. This can be viewed as the monetary "value" of the graceful set. Thus, it is worth considering whether or not the set is worthwhile enough to account for the potential lost profit. However, the outfit is useful in training various skills, as well as questing. The graceful outfit can thus be seen as an investment that may pay off due to the amount of coins saved that would have otherwise been spent on stamina potions. This is a one-way valuation of the graceful set, as it may only be purchased via marks of grace. Once marks are spent on amylase packs and these packs are sold for coins, the only way to obtain more marks is to continue completing rooftop courses.

The weight reduction does not transfer to F2P worlds.

Recolouring

Players may recolour their graceful outfits to one of eleven different colours. Players can pick a different colour for each piece and still receive the set bonus.[3]

Players may recolour their graceful outfits to one of five different colours themed after the houses of Great Kourend by talking to Osten in Shayzien. Unlocking a house's colour requires the completion of that house's quest — for example, the purple Arceuus recolour requires completion of The Ascent of Arceuus. A sixth recolour is offered, representing the kingdom of Great Kourend. Unlocking the kingdom recolour requires completion of all five house quests. Each piece of an outfit costs 15 marks of grace to recolour, requiring 90 marks of grace to fully recolour an outfit. If that many marks were instead used to buy amylase packs, the potential profit would be 230,700 coins per piece, and 1,384,200 coins for an entire outfit.

Players can speak to Osten to revert the colours to the default appearance, but this will not refund any tokens, and recolouring the graceful will cost the same number of tokens again.

The blue colour scheme, which matches the agility cape, is available from Pirate Jackie the Fruit in Brimhaven for 250 Brimhaven vouchers, and is only available for recolouring the whole graceful outfit.

There is also a dark recolouring, obtainable by using dark dye on a piece of the outfit, costing 300 hallowed marks at the Hallowed Sepulchre per piece of graceful, costing a total of 1,800 hallowed marks for a full outfit.

There is an adventurer's outfit variant which is based on the appearance of the quest point cape, obtainable by using pieces of the tier 3 adventurer's outfit on graceful pieces, with the adventurer's outfit costing 1,800 Quest Speedrunning points to purchase.

The Trailblazer League graceful can be obtained with the trailblazer graceful ornament kit, with one being required per piece recoloured. They can be bought for 6,000 league points in the Leagues Reward Shop for six kits, or by trading with other players, costing 1,176,474 coins.

Finally, the Varlamore graceful variant can be obtained by purchasing the graceful crafting kit from Worm Tongue at the Colossal Wyrm Agility Course for 650 termites and a full set of uncoloured graceful.

It costs 3,660 marks of grace, 250 brimhaven vouchers, 1,800 hallowed marks, 6,000 league points or 1,176,474 coins, 1,800 speedrun points and 650 termites to obtain one of every graceful set, including a base set with no recolour.

Trivia

  • When used to buy amylase packs, each mark of grace is worth 255 Herblore experience. This means that obtaining one graceful set without a recolour costs 66,300 Herblore experience and with a recolour, 89,250 experience. Obtaining one of every single set (including one default set) costs 867,000 experience.
