Masori armour
Masori armour is a set of ranged armour requiring level 80 Ranged and 30 Defence to equip. The armour belonged to the Masori clan, who were powerful ranged weapon-wielders active around the time of the Kharidian–Zarosian War and were known for defending people from bandits who sought to take advantage of the wartime chaos. Their armour can only be obtained as rare drops from the Tombs of Amascut.
It is the best ranged armour in the game, surpassing Armadyl armour in terms of ranged attack bonuses. It also provides the highest magic defence bonus, and unlike Armadyl armour, it does not provide a penalty to melee accuracy. The Masori armour can also be upgraded into a fortified variant with Armadyl plates, increasing the Defence level required to equip it to 80, offering increased defensive bonuses and a +1 prayer bonus, which in turn makes it surpass Armadyl armour's defensive bonuses. Fortifying the armour requires level 90 Crafting.
Completing the Tombs of Amascut with a raid level of at least 350 and without dying will reward the Masori crafting kit. This kit can be combined with an Ava's assembler to create the Masori assembler, which has the same function as the regular assembler but matches the style of Masori armour. A Masori assembler max cape can similarly be created by either combining the kit with an assembler max cape or by combining a Masori assembler with a regular max cape.

Reworked concept art of Masori armours by Mod Jerv. Concept A is in line with the previous iteration, with slight tweaks to the base armour and the fortified variant being more distinct, while Concept B is an entirely fresh take on the armour, incorporating crocodile skin textures like Zebak's. These were put to a poll, with Concept B winning.

Trivia
- Originally, the Masori armour would have made use of the Low Life status effect, in which players wearing the armour set with less than 40% of their health would have had their Ranged Attack and Ranged Strength bonus increased. The Masori amulet, which was later scrapped, would assist players in achieving the Low Life effect by damaging players until the status took effect. In addition, the full armour set had an 8% chance to dodge an incoming attack, negating damage from any non-typeless attack.
- The aforementioned effects were later removed in favour of fortifying the armour set after player feedback that the armour's set effects were not worth the tradeoff for being at low health.
