Mining gloves are a pair of gloves purchasable from Belona's shop, Mining Guild Mineral Exchange, for 40 unidentified minerals. Despite technically only requiring level 20 Mining to equip, level 60 is required to enter the guild to purchase them.

By speaking to Belona with these gloves and the superior mining gloves, players can pay her 40 unidentified minerals to combine them into a pair of expert mining gloves.

This item can be stored in the armour case of a costume room.

Effects

When mining certain rocks with the gloves equipped, the rock will not be depleted one time, and the player will continue mining the rock until it depletes. This effect stacks with other mining enhancers.

In the mining guild, each time the effect is triggered and the rock is mined again, the player has a chance to find unidentified minerals. This will result in multiple chances per rock before it depletes.

The rocks below are affected by the glove's effect:

Trivia

• The Mining skill guide states that the gloves require level 20 Mining to wear, even though it is impossible to obtain them at that level, as they are purchased within the Mining Guild, which requires level 60 Mining to enter.
• Although they match the appearance of the prospector kit, they do not count towards the set bonus.
