Zombie pirate keys are dropped by zombie pirates found at the Wilderness Chaos Temple. They are used to open the pirates' lockers on the shipwreck located on the coast east of the Chaos Temple.

The loot obtained from the lockers is almost completely identical to that from killing zombie pirates, but with the quantity of each drop doubled. The sole exception is the teleport anchoring scroll, with an unchanged quantity but a significantly increased drop rate.

Zombie pirate keys are always lost on death in PvP. In a non-PvP death, the keys always appear in the player's gravestone, and cannot be protected using the Protect Item prayer.
