The Castle Wars Ticket Exchange is the store where players can purchase items with their accumulated Castle wars tickets. The store is owned by Lanthus and is located in the Castle Wars lobby. Most of the items sold there are either for use in the Castle Wars minigame or as a decorative armour, equivalent to another set of armour in RuneScape.
Each of the decorative armour pieces have the same stats as another type of armour, except for having less weight.
- Red/blue decorative pieces are the same as steel armour.
- White/blue decorative pieces are the same as mithril armour.
- Gold/navy decorative pieces are the same as adamant armour.
Total costs
In order to purchase one of each item, a player would need a total of 5,549 tickets. These calculations are excluding time waiting between each game.
- 5,549 games are needed in the case of a loss or if both team's scores are tied at any number other than 0 (1 ticket earned). This would take approximately 77 days of in-game time.
- 2,775 games are needed if both team's scores are tied at 0-0 (2 tickets earned). This would take approximately 38.5 days of in game-time.
- 1,850 games are needed if the winning team had points and the opposing team had 0 points (3 tickets earned). This would take approximately 25.7 days of in-game time.
However, in order to buy each item once to complete the collection log, without necessarily keeping any particular items, the player would only need to obtain 800 tickets. The reason for this is that all shop items can be sold back for a full refund of the buying price. The Decorative armour (gold platebody) is the most expensive item, and is priced at 800 tickets. Under these circumstances, the amount of games under the circumstances listed above is reduced to 800, 400 and 267 respectively. This would reduce the total time to obtain each item at least once by a factor of roughly 7, resulting in roughly between 3.7 to 11.1 days, or 89 to 266 hours in total.
After buying the most expensive pieces and selling them back, the player is left with enough tickets to buy every item from the shop to keep, except for the gold and white armour set.
