Machetes are melee slash weapons similar to scimitars with the attack speed of longswords. They are mostly used to cut jungle in the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame, and to enter the Kharazi Jungle.
The normal machete is sold at both the Karamja general store and the Shilo Village general store. The opal, jade, and red topaz machetes are sold at Gabooty's Tai Bwo Wannai Cooperative for trading sticks or can be obtained by exchanging 3 of their respective gems, 1 gout tuber, and trading sticks with Safta Doc.
Stat-wise compared to longswords, machetes offer significantly lower slash and defensive bonuses and lack stab bonuses.
